My path into Chinese medicine began nearly twelve years ago on a silent meditation retreat, where I was first introduced to qigong. I became deeply drawn to this practice and later travelled to Mantak Chia’s Tao Garden in Thailand to train as a medical qigong teacher, and was trained by Tevia Feng at his School of White Tiger Qigong. On returning to the UK, I taught classes and worked one-to-one with individuals, teaching students simple but powerful qigong practices they could use to support their own healing. It was during this time that I discovered how meaningful I found it working closely with people, particularly those living with ongoing health challenges.

Alongside this, my own long health journey including years of digestive issues and later post-viral symptoms deepened my understanding of how the body communicates through discomfort. These experiences shaped not only my decision to study shiatsu and later acupuncture, but also defined how I work today in the clinic. I trained for three years at the European Shiatsu School before going on to study acupuncture, drawn by a desire to understand the body more deeply and work with its subtle patterns of energy.

In my work, I aim to create a safe, unhurried space where people feel listened to and supported. Treatments are always tailored to the individual and may include acupuncture, moxa, cupping, gua sha or bodywork, depending on what feels most appropriate on the day. I see it as a great privilege to walk alongside people on their healing journey, supporting meaningful change and seeing patients free themselves from their symptoms and pain.
